Developed by the SPO - for the SPO!! This brand new format of tournament poker is not only fun, but an exercise in poker strategy. Teams of 2 partners will share a single chip stack in a No Limit Texas Hold Em multi-table event. 1 player from each team will play at a time. Players can "tag out" at any point they wish, and sit down and continue play for their partner. Tag out as often as you like... even mid-hand!

Here are the details:

• This a free roll event - there is absolutely no cost to participate
• This is a multi-table event that will be played down to 1 player/team
• Players will partner up in teams of 2.
• Players can, and are encouraged to chose a partner of their choice, but those that do not have a partner will have an opportunity to form a team the day of the event.
• 1 player from each team will play at a time
• Either player can initiate a tag-out
• Tag-outs can happen as often or seldom as the team wishes, but only 1 tag-out is allowed per betting action.
• Team members not in the hand must obey a "5 ft. rule", and not stand within 5 feet of an opponent that is still in the current hand.  Anyone caught violating this rule will suffer penalties, including having their team removed from the event.
• 1 player per hand.  Only players seated at the table are allowed to see the hand.  If you want your teammate to see your hand, you must tag out and let them complete the betting action. Any exposed cards will be declared dead.
• Any verbal or non-verbal influence on the action by players not in the hand, positive or negative, will not be tolerated and will incur penalties.
• All SPO rules will be enforced, unless otherwise noted.
  
  Prizes and League Point payouts are as follows:
• 8th place team receives 70 points
• 7th place team receives 80 points
• 6th place team receives 100 points
• 5th place team receives 120 points
• 4th place team receives 150 points
• 3rd place team receives 200 points
• Runner-Up team receives 300 points
• The winning team receives $150.00 cash, 2 VIP Memberships*, and 2 guaranteed seats in the SPO Winter Championship on April 6, 2008.

All points awarded are Specialty Points, and players may split points between teammates however they wish.

New players, or players without partners, will have an opportunity to partner up with other solo players the day of the event.

* VIP Memberships will be awarded to winning teams that are not currently VIP Members.  Credits will not be given.
